flac-archive archives CDs to FLAC files. It also includes flac2mp3, for transcoding the single FLAC file for a CD into one MP3 file per track. It depends on Perl >= 5.6, the MusicBrainz::Client Perl module, cdparanoia, GNU make, and mkcue (for generating cue sheets).

The easiest way to install the dependencies is to use pkgsrc, which works on just about any UNIX-like system you can find, from the BSDs to GNU/Linux distributions to Mac OS X to Solaris.
