- documentation is woefully out of date; man pages no longer built or
  installed

- flac>=1.1.3 and taglib dependencies should be optional; should work
  with flac 1.1.0

- at least one 'except Exception' block (in flac2mp3), doesn't
  re-raise SystemExit
