From c74acc3a4973a9b517a10ff8c19e44f42f4f5693 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Ken Hornstein Date: Thu, 1 Jun 2017 12:26:23 -0400 Subject: [PATCH] Remove ancient SENDMAILBUG code. Old SMTP code used to treat a code 451 the same as code 250 (success). It's not clear if this was ever a real bug in sendmail, but regardless this code is long obsolete. --- mts/smtp/smtp.c | 22 ---------------------- 1 file changed, 22 deletions(-) diff --git a/mts/smtp/smtp.c b/mts/smtp/smtp.c index 66549a55..0ef19b01 100644 --- a/mts/smtp/smtp.c +++ b/mts/smtp/smtp.c @@ -21,17 +21,6 @@ * RP_-style codes. */ -#ifdef SENDMAILBUG -/* - * It appears that some versions of Sendmail will return Code 451 - * when they don't really want to indicate a failure. - * "Code 451 almost always means sendmail has deferred; we don't - * really want bomb out at this point since sendmail will rectify - * things later."
